Only REAL materials are used to construct these spolioi - authentic skins, repousséd/etched bronze and hand-stitched hides.

This is what authenticity looks like (with the exception of the greaves, which was unavoidable at this point). 

These images display an accurate attention to detail in both spolas construction and bronze and silver repoussé/engraving.

This is a splendid example of a 5th century B.C. aristocratic hoplite. Everything (including the helmet) is hand made and battle-worthy.
